How often should I update leads in the referral manager?

Agents need to update their leads at least once every seven days.

The matching system tracks your interactions within the system. If you're consistent in updating your leads at least once every 7 days, you will be positively impacted in the ranking system.

If a client has become unresponsive or is no longer actively searching, you have additional options:

  • You can release the lead back to Opcity. This will remove the lead from your dashboard, and our team will reach out to the client. We recommend releasing leads that become unresponsive or are no longer a good fit. 
  • You can place the lead on a long-term hold. This will keep the lead assigned to you, but you will not be required to update the lead once every seven days. We recommend using long-term hold when you have a serious home buyer that has paused their home search for a short time (e.g., until after the holidays or until a pre-qualification is finalized).
